Set up the entry
Keep a washable towel near the door and a place for your own shoes. Make sure the station does not block the exit.
Clean gently
Wipe loose dirt from paws and between toes, checking for sharp debris. Use pet-safe products only and dry the areas that stay damp.
Dry the gear
Hang leashes and towels where air can circulate. Replace or wash the towel before the next outing.
Do paws need washing after every walk?
Not always. Check for dirt, irritants and damage, then clean as needed with appropriate care.
